How ARTON works

ARTON helps artists go from “I make art” to “people found my art, connected with me, and paid me for it.” Here's how to get the most from it, whether you create or collect.

For artists: your first week

Do these in order. Most artists finish the first four in under an hour.

Set up your creative identity
Add a clear photo, a one-line headline (“Watercolour painter in Pune”), the categories and styles you work in, your country, and a short bio. These are exactly what people filter by on Discover Artists.
Open Settings
Upload your strongest 5–10 pieces
Go to Create and drop in a photo or scan. Uploads stay private drafts until you publish. Photo location data is removed automatically. Light your work evenly and crop out the background; if a photo looks dull, run it through Creative Studio → Enhance first.

Let the assistant write the boring parts
In the editor, the Assistant panel suggests a title, description, tags, alt text and an Instagram caption from your image. Click Use on what you like and edit anything. Nothing is published without you.(On this server the assistant gives basic colour-based suggestions until an AI key is added.)
Tell the story behind the piece
The Story field shows on the artwork page in italics. A sentence about why you made it turns casual viewers into followers and buyers.
Publish, then check Insights weekly
Choose Public (in Explore), Unlisted (link only) or Private. Each week, open Insights to see views, saves, followers and which pieces perform best. Saves are the strongest signal for getting recommended.

Climb the creative levels
Levels run New → Emerging → Rising → Featured → ARTON Creator → Master Artist. They grow from your body of work, publishing regularly, engagement, completed commissions and audience. Followers are only one part, so consistency matters more than going viral.

Growing with Instagram & Pinterest

ARTON works best alongside the platforms you already use. Send people both ways.

Link your accounts
In Settings → Instagram, Pinterest & more, type @yourhandle or paste your profile link. They appear as buttons on your profile, so people who discover you here can follow you there too. Behance, YouTube, X and your website work the same way.
Add your links
Put your ARTON gallery in your bio
On your own profile you'll see Bring your audience here with a Copy gallery link button. Paste it into your Instagram and Pinterest bio, so followers can see your full portfolio and commission you in one tap.
Go to your profile
Share each new piece to Instagram
On any artwork, tap Share → Share to Instagram. On a phone it opens Instagram with the image, and a caption with your ARTON link is copied for you. On a computer it saves the image and copies the caption. The assistant's Promote tab writes captions and hashtags tailored to each piece.
Pin your work
Tap Share → Save to Pinterest. Every pin links back to the artwork page on ARTON, and pins keep sending visitors for months. Pin your best piece first.

Buying & selling art from the wall

Artists: connect your bank first
In Settings → Get paid, add the bank account your earnings should go to. When a client pays, Razorpay splits the payment: 92% to you, 8% to ARTON.

Artists: put a price on a piece
Open an artwork, choose Edit, then under Sell this artwork pick Sell the original (one buyer, you ship it) or Sell a digital file (upload the high-resolution file buyers download). Set your price and publish.
My Creations
Clients: buy from the wall
Pieces for sale show their price on the wall. Open one and press Buy the original (enter your shipping address) or Buy & download, then pay with Razorpay.
Art for sale
Originals: ship, then get paid
The sale appears in Sales with the buyer's address. Ship it, add the tracking number with Mark as shipped. When the buyer presses It arrived (or 7 days after shipping), your share (92%) is released to the bank account you connected in Settings → Get paid.
Sales
Digital files: instant
Buyers download the file from Purchases straight after paying, and your share is due right away. The file stays private: only buyers can download it.

Commissions & getting paid

Open for commissions
Turn on Available for commission in Settings, add a starting price and what you offer (sizes, turnaround, revisions). A Commission button appears on your profile and artworks.

Reply to requests
Requests arrive in Commissions with the client's brief, budget, deadline and private reference images. Ask questions in the conversation, then Send quote with your price.
Accept, then get paid
When you accept, the client sees a Pay button and pays securely through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking). You get a notification and the commission shows Paid. Only start work once it's paid.
Track it to delivery
Move the commission through In progress to Completed. Every change is recorded in its history and posted in your conversation, so both sides always know where things stand.

Explore
Use For You (it learns from what you like and save), Trending, New and categories. Watch the Rising Artists strip: talented people with small audiences.
Explore art
Find artists
Discover Artists filters by art type, style, medium, country and who's open for commissions. Search understands phrases like “portrait artist”, “watercolor” or “Indian artists”.
Discover artists
Like, save, follow
Likes and saves tell artists their work landed, and they boost artists in discovery. Organise saves into collections such as Inspiration or Portraits. Follow artists to see their new work first.
Walk an artist's gallery
On any artist profile, tap Walk the gallery to stroll through their work in a 3D room. Scroll or swipe to walk, and tap a frame to read its label.
Commission something personal
Tap Commission, describe what you want, add a budget, deadline and reference photos. You only pay after the artist accepts at a price you agreed on.

Questions

Does ARTON use my art to train AI?: No. The assistant only looks at a piece when you ask it to, and its suggestions are never published without you.
How is AI art labelled?: Every piece is marked Original, AI-assisted or AI-generated, and anything made in Creative Studio is labelled automatically. Using the assistant for titles and tags doesn't change a piece's label.
Why isn't my work showing in Explore?: Check it's Published and set to Public. Unlisted and private work never appears in feeds or search.
Can I sign in with Google?: Yes, if this ARTON server has Google set up. Use Continue with Google on the sign-in page, or connect Google later in Settings.
What does ARTON charge?: Joining, exhibiting and publishing are free. When something sells (an original, a digital file or a commission), ARTON keeps an 8% platform fee and the artist receives the rest.
